This week at Crossing Fight School, we’ll be running a class to help prepare for the upcoming tournament next weekend in West Virginia, the Historical Integrated Longsword Tournament (H.I.L.T.). This tournament is modeled after one of the premier HEMA tournaments of past, and features 3 different competitions within the event (fighting, cutting, and paired forms). The paired forms event features plays from Paurenfeyndt’s Longsword, a source we’ve studied extensively, so our school should be very competitive in all facets of the tournament.
