This week at Crossing Fight School, the intrepid (and irreverent) Aidan Witherspoon once again leads our class in a further exploration of Andre Lignitzer’s Sword & Buckler. Last week’s class was enjoyable, informative, and well-attended, and this one promises to be no different, so it is not to be missed.

One of the things that is often overlooked when training in this sort of discipline is the value inherent in working with your non-dominant hand, which certainly lends itself to a variety of other weapons systems, Longsword included. When either imposing your will during a fight or responding to changing conditions, developing instincts which allow you to act decisively with both hands can only help your training, no matter what your aims are. For this and other reasons, classes like these can have significant implications, and will only help you be a better fighter all around. 🙂

See you all on Sunday.
