This week at Crossing Fight School, we will be having a class led by the one and only Mike “Colonel” Sanders on Bartitsu, a fighting style originating in Europe during the late Victorian era. 🙂 I have been looking forward to this class with much anticipation, as this sort of fighting is something I’ve long been curious about.

This class is very timely, as it happens, because it will be rather hot outside, and we will be spared having to gear up extensively. Also, even though it is pretty far removed from what we might do with a Longsword, a lesson like this will nevertheless acquaint us with the mechanics of fighting in close quarters, which is a very useful skill no matter what we’re practicing.

I trust this class will be both very informative and enjoyable, and I strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of it.

See you all on Sunday.
