This week at Crossing Fight School, we are going to have a little bit of everything in store for you all.
First off, after some warm-ups, I’ll be handing off the reins to one of the most gifted and successful fighters in HEMA, the one and only Jonathan Paulino from the Philadelphia Common Fencer’s Guild. Jon has a well-earned reputation for being a precise, intelligent, and lethal fighter, and I encourage all of you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from one of the very best in our region.
Jon will be giving us an introduction to the work of Philippo di Vadi, one of the most interesting and effective fencing systems in HEMA. This class is not to be missed. There is much in Vadi which could prove very useful to beginner and seasoned fighters alike, so I encourage you all to make it out if you can.
We will also be doing a bit of tournament preparation for the upcoming AG Open, as many people have said they may not make it to class on the 17th (we will be open, but I’m not sure how many will make it out).
See you all on Sunday.
