This week at Crossing Fight School, we’ll be looking at everything we couldn’t get to during our last class, and also revisiting a couple of exercises that have since been modified. These dynamic drills will not only aid us in developing better fighting habits, but will also help prepare us for the upcoming competition in Ohio.
I’d also like to make mention of something else. I have been trying to get some fight time in with our newer people to bring them up to speed, but I can’t get to everyone each week. I’d love to, but it’s not possible.
All of you are pretty good at sparring with our newer members now and then, and I encourage that to continue. This will give them experience with different types of fighters, and should also keep you honest, as these fights are sometimes very tricky, for obvious reasons. I also trust you to give decent advice, but if there’s anything you’re unsure about when consulting our less experienced members, simply refer them to me, or another member who can offer additional guidance.
I like the trend I’ve seen lately, and I hope we continue to grow as a school as the year progresses.
See you all on Sunday.
