This week at Crossing Fight School, our review of the Ringeck gloss resumes, and we’ll be looking at what do to when we are displaced.

Confronting an opponent who is fencing defensively can be a problem, but fortunately, there are countermeasures against such tactics. Whether it’s taking advantage of forceful parries, capturing an opponent’s weapon, or closing to grapple, you can definitely turn things to your advantage.

This sort of lesson can definitely be of use to all fencers, but particularly those who wish to stay in the habit of seeking the openings and staying in the Vor.

See you all on Sunday.

SIDE NOTE:

After the lesson, I’ll need everyone’s attention for a few minutes to go over some venue – related issues that need to be discussed. Please make yourselves available.
