This week at Crossing Fight School, we begin our new Longsword source, the “L” in R/D/L, namely Lew. This source is essentially the companion source to Ringeck and Danzig, and although from the same family of texts, it has a few subtle but important differences from its companions.

We’re starting at the ground floor, so to speak, so all of you new(er) practitioners will definitely want to attend these upcoming classes. We’ve worked hard to fill in the blanks for all of you (and met with some success), but this new opportunity to give additional context and substance to what you’ve learned so far should be taken advantage of.

For the more experienced among us, this will be a chance to further solidify a great deal of the system, and to look carefully at all its elements, including the ones you don’t use (but maybe should). Each thing will be studied in turn, and at the end of it all, we’ll be that much closer to reaching our goals.
