This week at Crossing Fight School, we will be having a class on Bartitsu, the famed system of Victorian – era self-defense. Our lesson will be led by the incomparable Mike “Colonel” Sanders, of course, and since it doesn’t require much gear, it will provide a much-needed bit of relief from the oppressive heat.
In previous classes, we’ve learned stances, striking, footwork, and a number of other aspects of the system, so if you have an interest in hand to hand fighting, this is not to be missed.
There will be time enough for Longsword after the lesson, so you can still exercise that option if you choose. Having said that, I highly recommend that all practitioners participate in the main class, as Mike’s lessons are always both enjoyable and informative.
See you all on Sunday.
