This week at Crossing Fight School, class willl be led by the incomparable Josh Furrate, the Legend from Louisiana. He will also be accompanied by one of the most talented and prolific artists and designers in the HEMA community, the one and only Amber Damare. The class description is as follows:

Ainbinden: Rules of the Bind & when to break them.

In the middle of a fencing match and you see an opening. You take it and then find that you’ve doubled afterwards. What went wrong and what can be done about it? This class focuses on using the bind safely to execute actions found throughout our sources in KdF.

Gear: mask, gloves, gorget, feder; jacket preferred.

Josh is a true HEMA practitioner in every sense, and an accomplished one at that. His techniques and methods form the basis of some of the very best fencing you’ll see, and we are very lucky to be hosting both him & Amber. This event is not to be missed! This is a special event, but it’s being funded by our school as a gift to its members and to other PEMAC clubs.

See you all on Sunday. 🙂
